Educational Assistant Long-Term Substitute Open Position Staffing Changes We want to thank the following teachers for coming over to Shawsheen Elementary School and really making it their home for the year. Moving over to a different school with short notice due to all the restrictions we had was not easy. These individuals did this flawlessly and it felt as though the staff, students, and families have known them for years. It has been a true pleasure to work with the following professionals: A special thank you to Deven Langenfeld who will be going to the Woburn Street School as a second grade teacher. A special thank you to Renee Deschene who will be going to the West School as a fourth grade teacher. A special thank you to Laura Harris who will be returning to the Woburn Street school as a second grade teacher. Welcoming Back We welcome back next year Bob Mauriello, Lauren Kelly-Joseph, and Donna Rogers into their Grade 3 classrooms from their remote teaching year. We are also welcoming back Cheryl Lesnik and Stephanie Beuchamp into second grade from their remote teaching. Noel Cali will be coming back into the second grade team as well. Kelly Bourque and Bri Langone will be returning to first grade in 2022-2023. Moving on to the West Kaulana Carrell is moving on to the West next year as a classroom Educational Assistant. We will miss Kaulana immensely and cannot thank her enough for all she does and continues to do for the students and staff at the Shawsheen. We wish her the best of luck at the West and are glad she will still be surrounded by our students! Brianna Locke is moving on to the West as a 1:1 Educational Assistant. Brianna is a wonderful colleague to have in your corner and she brightens up both students’ and staff’s days. We want to thank Briana for all her efforts this year to help out and be flexible. We have complete confidence that Brianna will continue to do great things.
