Dear Parents,
Our annual Field Days
are scheduled for Monday, June 6 (grade 3), Tuesday, June 7 (grade 2) and Wednesday,
June 8 (grade 1), with rain dates on Thursday, June 9 and Friday, June 10 as
needed. Let’s hope the weather
cooperates!
Field Day will be
taking place on the outside playing fields and tennis courts. Please have your
children wear sneakers and dress
for the weather. Please do NOT
send your child to school wearing sandals, flip flops or “Crocks”, as there
are many high energy games in which appropriate footwear is needed. There will be a few activities in which the
children may get wet, so they are welcome to wear bathing suits and are
encouraged to bring a COMPLETE change of clothes and a towel. Items HIGHLY recommended for Field Day:
-SNEAKERS -SWIMSUIT OR OLD PLAY CLOTHES
-SUNSCREEN &
HAT -COMPLETE CHANGE OF CLOTHES
-TOWEL -WATER BOTTLE
Non-toxic “tattoos”
will be one activity offered; if you DO
NOT want your child involved in this activity, please fill out the form
at the bottom of this page and return it to your child’s teacher. If we do not hear from you, we will assume
that your child MAY have a
tattoo put on his/her arm/leg or hand.
